Nestio Cookie Policy
Edition dated 17 October 2026. Version 1.0.
1. Scope
This Policy describes cookies and similar technologies in the web interfaces at lk.nestio.ru and chat.nestio.ru, including when these pages are opened from the Nestio app. General personal data processing terms are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small records stored in a browser that may be sent to the website with subsequent requests. Browser local and session storage hold data for the web interface; these storage mechanisms do not themselves send data to a server.
2. Information used and its purposes
| Purpose | Information |
|---|---|
| Sign-in and session continuity | Session identifier and authentication status |
| Protection of sign-in and requests | Technical values used to validate sessions, requests and the selected sign-in method |
| Remembering preferences and operating the interface | Selected language, preferences, local data and cache needed for the features used |
This information is used to provide features requested by the user. Where identifiers allow information to be linked to a user, it is treated as personal data. Network requests also involve the IP address and browser or device information under the Privacy Policy; this does not mean that these details are necessarily stored inside cookies.
Processing necessary to enter into or perform the user agreement is carried out on that basis. Where other processing requires consent, it is obtained through a separate action before that processing starts. Continuing to browse a page does not itself constitute consent.
When the user chooses HUAWEI ID sign-in, Huawei's pages may use that provider's cookies under its own rules. External-service data processing is described in the Nestio Privacy Policy. Mobile app identifiers and push-notification tokens are not automatically browser cookies.
3. Retention
Session cookies last for the browser session; browser session restoration may retain them after a window closes. Persistent cookies last until their specified expiry or earlier deletion. The expiry of an individual record can be checked using the browser's cookie-viewing tools.
Local storage data may remain until removed by the service, browser or user. It is used only while necessary for the stated purposes. Signing out and clearing stored website data are separate actions.
The 30-day account-data deletion and server-backup retention periods are not a general cookie lifetime. Deleting an account terminates its server-side sessions but does not guarantee that browser data is cleared on every device, including devices that are offline.
4. Controls and contact
Users can view, delete and block cookies and clear website data through browser settings. To remove local storage, clear website data rather than only cookies. Restricting necessary records may prevent sign-in, preference retention or individual features from working. Clearing the browser does not itself delete the Nestio account.
The current Policy is published in the Nestio web interface. New processing purposes are not automatically covered by consent already given.
